We source our beef from other farmers who raise their animals like we raise our elk and bison — hormone & antibiotic free — then we finish it just like the elk & the bison completely on grass or hay depending on the season. We process our beef earlier than the industry standard. We do this because you get the most tender beef you've ever experienced.
Our beef are much more sedentary that either the elk or the bison preferring to spend their days quietly grazing or munching on hay. We grow all our own hay chemical free so we have complete control over what each animal eats.
We offer only the Premium Beef Cuts from animals between the ages of 18-24 months. This ensures very tender succulent cuts every time. All the other cuts go into ground, sausage or burger patties.
There are many health benefits of eating grass finished beef. Since it's finished on grass it has more Omega 3's than feed lot animals and it's leaner than grain finished animals. Our beef is very similar to our grass finished elk.
All our primal bison cuts are aged 21-28 days and are individually flash frozen then vacuum packed for maximum freshness.
